Border Patrol Agent Manuel Alvarez 37, was killed in an on-duty motorcycle crash on the Tohono O'Odham Nation Reservation south of Sells, Arizona. Alvarez and another agent were conducting a dirt bike patrol of rugged land when their motorcycles collided, causing Agent Alvarez to suffer fatal injuries.
The Choir Boys LEMC rode from all parts of Arizona to Casa Grand to show their support to the friends and family of Alvarez. A check was presented to the Station Chief on behalf of his widow and children.
Agent Alvarez had served with the United States Border Patrol for 13 years. He is survived by his wife and four children. Our sympathies to the family and friends of Alvarez. Thank you for your service and your ultimate sacrifice.
